Michelle Socias
Michelle Socias, Executive Vice President and Director of Residential Mortgage Operations & Capital Markets joined FCSB in 2019 from Hanover Community Bank where she served as the head of the company’s mortgage operations and mortgage sales division since 2013. Socias previously served in managerial and sales positions with Salomon Smith Barney and has been in the banking industry for over 20 years.
In her role, at FCSB, Socias leads a team of mortgage professionals, where she plays an integral role in the strategy, operations, and business performance of the Bank’s one-to-four family residential non-conforming mortgage program including product development, capital market transactions, loan sourcing, and general loan production.
Socias is one of the top home lending producers in New York State generating in excess of $1 billion in loan production with a reputation for running the most efficient mortgage origination operation units in the state. She and her staff are committed to providing the communities they serve with a variety of alternative mortgage solutions so loan applicants have an opportunity to meet their homeownership goals.
